Good morning, my dear brothers and sisters in Christ! In Today's lesson, we turn our attention to a passage of Scripture that many of us know and cherish—1 Corinthians 13. Often referred to as the “Love Chapter,” this chapter speaks to the heart of what it means to live as a follower of Jesus. It challenges us not only to reflect on our actions but also to examine the motivations behind them.

Scripture: "You are the light of the world. A city that is set on a hill cannot be hidden. Nor do they light a lamp and put it under a basket, but on a lampstand, and it gives light to all who are in the house. Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven." (Matthew 5:14-16, NKJV)

“If a kingdom is divided against itself, that kingdom cannot stand. If a house is divided against itself, that house cannot stand.”

Mark 3:24-25

My brethren, count it all joy when ye fall into divers temptations; knowing this, that the trying of your faith worketh patience. But let patience have her perfect work, that ye may be perfect and entire, wanting nothing. (James 1:2-4

And Jesus said unto them, Because of your unbelief: for verily I say unto you, If ye have faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye shall say unto this mountain, Remove hence to yonder place; and it shall remove; and nothing shall be impossible unto you.  (Matthew 17:20)

And Elijah came unto all the people, and said, How long will ye halt between two opinions? if the LORD be God, follow him: but if Baal, then follow him. And the people answered him not a word. (1Kings 18:21)

"The Lord came and stood there, calling as at the other times, 'Samuel! Samuel!' Then Samuel said, 'Speak, for your servant is listening.' And the Lord said to Samuel: 'See, I am about to do something in Israel that will make the ears of everyone who hears about it tingle. At that time I will carry out against Eli everything I spoke against his family—from beginning to end. For I told him that I would judge his family forever because of the sin he knew about; his sons blasphemed God, and he failed to restrain them. Therefore, I swore to the house of Eli, ‘The guilt of Eli’s house will never be atoned for by sacrifice or offering.'"  1 Samuel 3:10-14

In a world with thousands of religions to choose from we need to understand that only one is right.  It's the one religion that God has ordained.  The one that requires faith in His Son, Jesus Christ.  So who then can be saved?  Well, let's explore the lesson.
